Dr. Mikaela Weedman’s passion for dentistry started at a very young age, after being inspired by her favorite Christmas movie Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer. Carrying that excitement throughout her life, she became involved with dentistry during her time at Northern Arizona University. She joined NAU’s Predental Club and began shadowing at local dental offices.
She received her B.S. in Biomedical Science from NAU and her Doctor of Medicine in Dentistry (D.M.D.) from Midwestern University Arizona. Dr. Weedman enjoys getting to know all her patients at Country Club Dental Flagstaff in order to provide individualized care. Flagstaff is her family’s hometown and she is grateful to be back. Passionate about dentistry, she looks forward to serving the community of Flagstaff and Northern Arizona.
In addition, community service is important to her and she participates in giving back through organizations such as AZ Mission of Mercy and Give Kids a Smile. These organizations hold events providing care to community members in need. Additionally, she stays involved with the dental community through the AZDA, AGD, and ADA.
When not practicing dentistry, she enjoys spending time with her friends and family. Look for her on the slopes, on the lake, and cheering on her Arizona sports teams, as well as spending time with her three-legged rescue cat, Phoebe.
