We know that unexpected dental costs can be stressful! That’s why we’re here to help you explore all your options for affordable, regular dental care.
How Does a Dental Savings Plan Work?
Dental savings plans, also known as dental discount plans or clubs, help reduce the cost of dental procedures. For example, if you needed to have a tooth extracted, a dental saving plan would discount the cost of the procedure, but not cover the entire cost. Discounts range depending on the plan and the procedure, but are typically between 15-20%. With the Dental Saving Club from Country Club Dental, your savings start at 15%, with an extra 5% discount if you pay in cash.
Prices for dental savings plans typically range from $50 to $250, paid once a year. Some plans give discounts for just one person, while other plans work for the whole family. With our Dental Savings Club, the average adult will pay $60 annually for hundreds of dollars worth of savings.
How Are Savings Plans Different from Dental Insurance?
The main difference between a dental savings plan and dental insurance is the way that you pay for dental procedures. With dental insurance, you pay a copay as well as any costs not covered by the insurance policy. In some cases, the insurance may require you to pay for the procedure out-of-pocket and then offer full or partial reimbursement.
Dental insurance policies usually have annual limits on how much they will cover. This can pose an issue for individuals who have chronic dental conditions or underlying health conditions that affect their dental health. Dental savings plans give you a discount on dental procedures, so they usually don’t have annual limits, but they cannot be combined with dental insurance.
You should also note that while dental insurance can cover one or both of your biannual cleanings, dental savings plans will only give you a discounted price. Another difference between dental insurance and dental savings plans is that insurance policies have a monthly premium, while savings plans only need to be paid once a year.

Don’t wait until you have a chipped tooth or need a crown to look into dental insurance or a dental savings plan.
